Social Media Week 2015

Quite the conference enthusiast, I leapt at the opportunity to to attend Social Media Week 2015 in New York, NY on behalf of Translation LLC’s Ambassador Program (from the Social Media Department). One of my favorite aspects of being a conference attendee is the opportunity to report back to my team the learnings of the day.

I lucked out and was able to attend several panels that were not only inspiring, but whose expertise bridged my previous non-profit life with my current ad ambitions. These panelists gave invaluable advice to activists who were planning and perfecting their online presence. As the advice was given at a pivotal point in the marriage between politics and platforms, I consider the counsel crucial, and forewarning.

Here are my takes on two of the panels.
